Riedel Veritas Shiraz (New World) Glasses (Pair)

The Riedel Veritas Shiraz (New World) Glasses were designed to specifically enhance the characteristics of Shiraz wine.

The deep purple, almost inky colour of this Australian grape variety is highlighted by the glass, while the nose is filled with rich, intense blackberry aromas.

On the palate, the wine's massive structure and concentrated fruit are perfectly balanced with tannins, resulting in a long, sweet finish. This glass truly showcases the full potential of Shiraz.

Georg Riedel challenged his world class glass makers to create from lead-free crystal, the finest and lightest machine blown glass ever made. He proposed that it should be visually stunning, a delight to hold and price comparative against hand made glasses.

The result is Veritas, a range of glasses that are 15% taller than Vinum and 25% lighter, while still being dishwasher safe, break resistant and suitable for everyday use.
